The Dirty Gringo “El Jefe” Gas Tank Panel is a hard-nosed upgrade for Harley-Davidson split tank setups—dialed in for the Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead crowd that knows what real iron feels like. This isn’t some stamped-out, forgettable trim piece. It’s a statement.
Each panel starts as solid metal, then gets hit with a deep, aggressive engraving in our El Jefe pattern—cut with purpose, not printed on. We fill that engraving with a baked-in black enamel that bonds into the cuts, giving it contrast that won’t fade or flake out. From there, it’s hand-polished to bring out the highs, then sealed under a clear finish to lock everything in and keep it looking sharp through miles of abuse.
We didn’t forget the details that matter. The backside is lined with felt to protect your paint, because respect for your machine is part of the code. Mounting is straightforward with included options: stick-on Velcro strips for a clean setup, plus a traditional rubber band for that lower mount—old-school, secure, and proven.
